Window Cleaner (Performance)

Charlie Rawson is a movement artist and researcher. She is interested in the space between; liminal sites in which nothing is perceived to occur, or at least nothing of any importance.
Her work is inspired by our daily routines and tasks such as working, walking and cleaning. Utilising these acts she re-maps place and poses questions about performed and produced identities.
By re-performing everyday choreographies Rawson seeks to share the authenticity of these intermediate states and sites.
Rawson is a member of the Walking Artist Network, Body/Landscape Europe and will be presenting to the Royal Geographical Society during the International Conference 2016 on Sensory Orientations for the Geographer Artist.
