Since October 2013 DIG has been running in a warehouse off Lee High road in Lewisham hosting a wide range of public events and providing the space for local practices to expand into. We have curated and enabled exhibitions, workshops, talks, live music, plays and a range of other cross disciplinary events.
Rounds will feature a program of original performance, exhibitions and interventions delivered in series and set within the confines of Morris Wild’s Amphitheatre. The work resembles an amphitheatre but with proportions conceived to skew and compound the relationships between audience, performance, set and arena. It has been conceived to uncomfortably seat 30 people, with the potential for more capacity within and around the structure. The program will feature original work installed and enacted in quick succession from DIG members and regular contributors.
