Visitors are invited to Café Amatorska – a temporary café based in a flat. The project will explore the blurring of boundaries between art and life, initiating dialogue with diverse audiences in an informal setting. Among artworks donated over the three years of Amatorska’s existence as well as newly commissioned works, visitors will be encouraged to sit at the communal table and choose a dish from the menu. The menu will serve affordable artist’s editions, conversations with the artists, playlists created especially for the occasion and edible sculptures and treats. The artists also hope to create a space for themselves – a space where new ideas can be generated. Amatorska invites artists it’s collaborated with to meet and greet, find common ground, present their work and talk about future projects. Everyone is welcome to come and share their thoughts, give feedback or simply have a coffee in a friendly situation based on principles of exchange and collaboration.
