AltMFA, the alternative masters course, hold their annual live art tour along the Thames path between Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.
From the current water-born movement crisis, to the shape-shifting lives of people struggling in the city, the river is both a respite and a threat. ‘Flowing far and swift, taking everything along with it; there is no moment, no instant, no second when it stops flowing, but it goes on flowing and continuing.’ Buddhist Philosophy
Expect actions, subtle site-specific works and live performance from AltMFA members who will intervene on the walkways and waterways along this stretch of the Thames.
Collect your map from Bermondsey tube station, bring shoes for the rocks and meet the artists on the Thames beach or at the historic Mayflower pub afterwards.
