For Before: Adaptive Rhythm, Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom draws upon percussion, movement and ritual to develop an evolving 7-channel A/V installation that collides disparate cultural narratives through bodily, sensory experience.
As part of Art Licks Weekend, Black Tower Projects will open its doors during the production of Before: Adaptive Rhythm. From 6-9pm on Saturday 5th of October, audiences will be able to sit in on the recording of Rosie Bergonzi’s Hand Pan percussion, which will form part of the final installation.
