Imagining Lines In Other Narratives

Corelli Hotel

21-23 Longridge Road, London SW5 9SB, UK

Thursday 4 October, 6–9pm, Friday 5 October, Saturday 6 October & Sunday 7 October, 12–6pm

Corelli Hotel presents its first solo project, Imagining Lines In Other Narratives, by Peter Glasgow. Using a few formal devices – space, light, makeshift displays – Glasgow frames a newly produced piece of text that spreads across multiple spaces in a terrace block in Earls Court. The work deals with the difficulty of arranging narrative through thinking and writing; it inhabits an idea of not knowing where to go, where all avenues feel unworthwhile, and tries to find a potential in it.

This project is kindly supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
Peter Glasgow is an artist who lives and works in Belfast. He graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Fine Art Printmaking in 2015 and is currently a co-director at Catalyst Arts, an artist-led gallery in Belfast. Recent projects include “Laboratory of Dark Matters”, a group residency at Guest Projects London (2017), and “It’s not the digging, it’s the dirt”, a programme of live work broadcast online as part of Art Licks Weekend 2016.

Corelli Hotel is a cohort of artists that produce events, exhibitions and screenings.
