Artist and writer collaboration Noble & King will lead a convivial walk (approx. 1.5 hours) through the public space of Camberwell, SE5, accompanied by antique postcards, old maps and fragments of published text. This interactive tour examines what part in human connectedness everyday written correspondence and words might have to offer, in the past, present and future. ‘Correspondence’ works as a collective noun to mean the exchange of missives (letters, postcards etc), our ‘correspondence’ while walking, the co-responding that will (hopefully) take place between walk participants and, finally, as an echo/link to the theme of Art Licks Weekend 2019 – Interdependence.
